Privacy Policy
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Portal Puff Inc. ("PortalPuff," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit portalpuff.ai, contact us, or use the services we provide to businesses, including the PortalPuff dashboard at app.portalpuff.com and Spark, our AI employee (together, the "Services"). It works together with our Terms of Service.
Shoppers: portalpuff.com and each store's own website have their own privacy policies. When we handle shoppers' information on a store's behalf, section 7 explains how.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site or use the dashboard, we collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, what you click, and the page that sent you to us. We also record visits to see how people use our pages (see section 5), and we collect signals such as form timing to block spam and bots.
Information from other sources. We receive information from the companies that help us run the Services, such as payment processors and delivery partners. We also collect publicly available business information, such as a business's name, phone number and address from map and search listings, to contact businesses that may be interested in PortalPuff.
3. How we use information
- To provide, set up and support the Services, including your website, online ordering and Spark
- To process payments, fees and payouts
- To respond to demo requests and support tickets
- To send you messages about your account and the Services, and, where allowed, news and offers about PortalPuff
- To understand how the Services are used and to improve them
- To keep the Services secure and to prevent spam, fraud and misuse
- To follow the law and protect our rights
4. Spark and AI
When you use Spark, your messages and the business information Spark needs to help you, such as your products, orders, hours and website, are sent to third-party AI providers so Spark can understand your request and act on it. We share this information with them only to provide Spark.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog, an analytics service, on this site and in the dashboard. It records the pages people visit and what they click, makes heatmaps, and records visits so we can see how our pages are used. Anything typed into form fields is hidden in these recordings. PostHog uses cookies and similar browser storage to do this. Our site also uses browser storage to protect our forms from spam. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, and our site will still work.
We do not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels on this site.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, email, text messaging, payment processing, analytics, AI and delivery companies. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Stores: when a shopper orders from a store or joins its rewards, we share the information the store needs to serve that shopper.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PortalPuff, our users or others.
- Business changes: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your permission.
7. Information we handle for stores
When shoppers order from a store, join its rewards or receive its messages, we handle their information, such as names, contact details, delivery addresses, orders and rewards activity, on that store's behalf to provide the Services to the store. The store decides how that information is used, and it is responsible for its own customers' permissions. Shoppers with questions about their information can contact the store, or contact us and we will help.
8. Texts and emails
If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your account and the Services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or your text consent with other companies for their own marketing.
You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails with the link in any of them. We will still send messages you need about your account and the Services.
9. Keeping and protecting information
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the Services, to keep required records, to resolve disputes and to follow the law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no system is completely secure.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of our marketing messages at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have more rights, such as the right to know what we collect and how we use it, and the right not to be treated differently for using your rights. To make a request, email support@portalpuff.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
11. Children
The Services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or in your dashboard.
